The log measuring and sorting line allows each log to be measured by measuring diameter and length and storing the data.
Measurements are taken using software installed on a measuring computer attached to the system. Individual log data is displayed in real time on the screen and then stored. It is possible to view the measurements of all measured parts from the database. Archived data can be saved on a USB stick or printed out.
The logs are measured on a moving conveyor. Once the measurements have been taken, the logs are automatically divided into different containment boxes according to length, tip diameter or head diameter. The type of separation is set by the operator.
