Grinding machine

The grinder performs the function of a wood chipper: it transforms the processing waste from the sawmill into chips. Our wood chipper is configurable according to the size of the wood waste feeding mouth and according to the size of the wood chips that you want to obtain. In fact, we can choose various types of grids besides the fact that you have the possibility to vary the speed of introduction of waste, increasing or decreasing the size of the wood chips.

Our drum chippers are equipped with high strength oscillating bearings, centered in steel supports and bolted to the side walls of the machine. The feed rollers have special carbide teeth, and are surface hardened by an induction hardening process that guarantees high wear resistance.

During operation a hydraulic cylinder has the function of lightening the weight of the upper roller introduction, in addition it is used for the opening of the roller during maintenance. Another 2 hydraulic cylinders are used to open the upper doors of the grinder for knife replacement and maintenance. The automatic distribution of fat allows to grease also the internal movement organs without opening the doors.
The 2-blade rotor features an easy knife replacement system. The grinder is also supplied with a torque wrench for tightening the screws of the knife holder housings.
The grinder is designed for automatic cycle operation. The electrical and electronic management system ensures a constant inflow of material in order to reduce stress and absorption, reducing the risk of jams while preserving the life of components

We produce complete chipping lines, installed floor-level or recessed. The scraps are conveyed with vibrating channels inside the grinder, a scraper chain placed below transports the ground material directly into a collection box or introduces it in a sieve tube or circular to clean it by separating the sawdust. The chipped wood is a finished product, ready for use or sale.
